Lindsey Stirling – The Arena

It takes a few listen to get into, but The Arena is fast, powerful, and extraordinarily well composed. It bounces around in my top 10, but I am confident that it will stay there for quite some time. 100/100.

This song’s mash-up with Heathens is also excellent, but the “message” delivered is contradictory, which hurts it a bit. Here is the comparison of the choruses:

All My friends are Heathens take it slow        >>>  Hero is in danger
Wait for them to ask you who you know         >>  there is beauty in their moves
Please don’t make any excuse                    >> tension rises, problems arise
You don’t know the half of the abuse        >> beautiful turn around

All My friends are heathens take it slow (watch it) >>> Victorious chorus
