with a strong fantasy theme, the Traveler's Song is a nice potential to add to my favorites. (B+)

Sam Riegel – Your Turn to Roll
With excellent animation and a nice rhyme scheme, the strong theme is very well written, even if a bit short. It's not a natural 20, but it's definitely a success. (B+)
Amphibia Theme Song
I've been watching Amphibia recently, so here's a review of the theme song, since I like the show. Even though it's one minute long and hard to judge, it's got some nice mystery idea and not bad at all. (B+) Lyrical version review: Unfortunately, she forces the 40 seconds to link together with high production … Continue reading Amphibia Theme Song
Hans Zimmer – Time
It's Time. Hans Zimmer's epic slow building orchestral music might have a simple progression, but the electric guitar really brings out the subtleties in the theme. A master piece overall. (A+)
Sheppard – Die young
Far more creative and fresh sounding than the same named song by Kesha, Sheppard delivers an excellent hit. (B+)
Carly Rae Jepson – Curiosity
Will curiosity ever let me go? CRJ presents a nice poppy hit that does nicely and overall has a good theme, despite the "oh oh oh" idea. (B)
Music Personality/Taste Over Time!
It's been about a decade since I've been setting listening to music as a hobby. Here are my music personalities and shifts in tastes over time, in case you were curious. Italicized means it's still one of my very favorites! 2007~2009: Silly Chinese Music [I was 8 years old give me a break] Xi Shua … Continue reading Music Personality/Taste Over Time!
Jess Lee – Suffering
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiMd74XvH3w Though it abuses the standard four chord progression, the passionate singing is to be praised and creates a love song at least on the level of Hot Air Balloon -- even if arguably not as creative. (B)
Battle of the 89’s
Though I considered this useless, Juliet has since become a standard rock song while reviewing it in shuffles. Now the contestants rise and the 89's rough house with each other. Obviously, Bulletproof is a prime contender, winning against Monody which tied against two other songs. Nevertheless, there are definitely some other unusual songs, such as … Continue reading Battle of the 89’s
Special Match: Lapis Lazuli (Eir Aoi) Vs Wish You Were Here (Avril Lavigne)
With Eir Aoi's recent second win against random songs, I thought it was a good idea to test it against the current song considered the best out of the 88's. Indeed, even with Bulletproof's win in the back of my mind, Monody's strength, and Avril's decent song, the song reviews definitely brought out the unusual … Continue reading Special Match: Lapis Lazuli (Eir Aoi) Vs Wish You Were Here (Avril Lavigne)
