Although arguably overrated and not entirely my style, Dancing Queen smoothly moves as a decent disco and the chords are quite nice. It could be said to be a little too happy though...

When – Dodie Clark
Been busy studying for my finals. Anyhow, quick review. With a nice combo of violin, cello, and Dodie's calm voice, when makes me wonder when I will listen to such a refreshing song again... 90/100.
BLACK6IX – Please
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSfQ-OjlfXk Even without knowing the translation, you know the theme of desperation and sadness that comes out. The lyrics themselves don't seem super deep, as mostly he's stating how much he wants to be with his love, nevertheless, the tune is unique and the song remains catchy on a second listen. 91/100.
Bradio – Flyers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wh8FgsEtNQ Original review: Catchy, nice, cool, Flyers makes you want to "put your hands up" and "boom boom boom dancin' through the sky" with the extremely deceiving opening to Death Parade. Not to mention its chord progression is very jazzy and unique. 95. https://prnt.sc/jmjp3j (For non music nerds, the special shaded ones borrow from a … Continue reading Bradio – Flyers
Avril Lavigne – Who Knows
I can see why I added this when I was a huge fan of Avril, however, upon further analysis, it seems this song is lacking in lyrics, and the tune isn't super duper unique either... so... removed. Not too shabby though.
Life Might Take Us – Static P
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHT4P-VWhow though only 2:33 long, Static P invents a chill, nice song that delivers a little message and an inferred story. Who knows where Life Might Take Us? 85/100.
Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello – I Know What You Did Last Summer
March 2018 review: For a love song, this is not bad. The music video especially stresses that the two are in a relation where everything is at a stalemate. Honestly, it carries some formosity in it. Although I do have to admit if you're a bit more persnickety this song is a bit shallow. Nevertheless, … Continue reading Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello – I Know What You Did Last Summer
Clocks and Clouds – Towers Fall into the Sea
sounding almost like a small orchestra, Clocks and clouds displays an epic scenery in the short time they have.
Pendulum – The Island – Pt. 1 Dawn
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hszZmFRPqx8 I didn't include the entire thing because it was too repetitive. 4 minutes is enough to get your point across. This song's beat and EDM style was pretty cool. The lyrics aren't shabby at all, including "arrive in the rising sun, the hidden passenger" along with the cool chorus, "take my back the urge … Continue reading Pendulum – The Island – Pt. 1 Dawn
Fireflies – Owl City
Nice to listen to, with cool lyrics (other than the argued "a thousand hugs from ten thousand lightning bugs"), fireflies is pretty damn good. What's interesting is that most people think this is Owl City's best song, while I feel like Vanilla Twilight is more resistant to multiple listens since Fireflies feels a bit more … Continue reading Fireflies – Owl City
