I am surprised I haven't even liked the music video, despite hearing the song before. It's nostalgic, but I wouldn't say "it's what you do to me". Still, not too shabby. (B-)

All of Ado's song have potential and are intriguing. I am mildly surprised this one won Redditvision, but I suppose what goes around comes around. The middle-end portion resembled modern sleek pop a bit more, which is understandable, but also double-edged (especially electronic sounds). I like the foreign influences, however. Not bad. Though everyone knows what a big fan of violins I am, the melody is a bit too experimental and strange. One of the weird winners of Redditvision... hmmm. (C)

Rare Americans – Hullabaloo

The half rapping idea is interesting, and the song has some potential, if unusual... will have to listen more... (C+)

We Are Young – Fun

the chorus is a bit simplistic especially with the slow singing of "toniiiiight" combined with the "na na na na, na na na na".... Still, it's not too shabby even after all these years. (C+)

Lala – Just Dance (現在不跳舞要幹嘛)

Thought I reviewed this one... a pretty catchy funky danceable song, as the title implies. Funny music video too. (B)

Mary Mary – Shackles

With a pretty catchy cool chorus, it seems a bit odd that people think this similar to the slightly annoying Dance Monkey (especially with melody difference). Not bad at all. (B+)

Jessica Darrow – Surface Pressure

I like how the song has a big build up but the chorus is actually quieter than expected, like you have the crescendo going up and then -- "pressure like a drip drip drip" is softly sung... an interesting decision! Has a pop structure, but relatively unpredictable. (A-)
