Selena Gomez – Tell Me Something I Don’t Know
A catchy throwback to 2008, Selena Gomez delivers a pretty damn good song. Tell me, tell me, tell me, Something I don't know, Something I don't know, Something I don't know, How many inches in a mile How many bad songs in Gomez's discography Getcha to listen to this, baby
Amy Nuttall – Scarborough Fair
There are countless versions of this song, but Simon's version feels too regular. In my opinion, Amy best fits the mystic feeling of Scarborough Fair, with her astounding voice reaching to heights impossible for Simon to reach.
Lindsey Stirling – Angels We Have Heard on High
$^) Yes, yes, I have quite a bias towards Lindsey. The original felt kind of boring, but this one's much more soothing and interesting. Lindsey (almost) never messes up, and these Christmas songs lean closer to Taylor Davis, which is another good side of Stirling. It's good to see her change styles once in a … Continue reading Lindsey Stirling – Angels We Have Heard on High
Break of Reality – Voiceless
False to its name (especially since the band ironically is usually only instrumental), the cellos powerfully support the decent singer to create a good song. 85/100.
Wisin & Yandel “Follow The Leader” Featuring Jennifer Lopez
Catchy, cool, Follow the Leader is very nicely done, though admittedly the lyrics are little bit thin to allow it climb the "top 100 ladder", even against the passionate instrumentals that have no lyrics. (2018) Original Rating: 97. 4/7/2021 rating: 90/100
Colbie Caillat – I Never Told You
It is a tad slow, and the four chord progression threatens to remove it from my list, but the bittersweet lyrics make me reconsider and let me keep it... for now. 77/100.
Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat-Lucky
Slow, chill, Mraz works well with colbie to create a decent love song. Though it doesn't stand up to constant listen, they depend on skill, rather than luck, to get on my list. 87/100.
Simple Plan – Perfectly Perfect
The song is a little bit cheesy, especially since the singer talks about how amazing the girl is, blah blah blah, but the melody is not bad at all. 80/100.
Calvin Harris – Outside ft. Ellie Goulding
A decent song with good beats, using Ellie's unique voice to help bring out the song from your usual pop song. It's not truly fresh, and it's definitely no Fresh (see previous review), but it's got what it's got. Plus the theme is clearer with the FDDDD, DDCDBbA, AAFFF, GGGEEEF electronic melody. 86/100.
