too goddamn old sounding. 33/100

Sixto Rodriguez – I Wonder
I wonder why RYM thought this was my type of song... too repetitive. 30/100
Byrds – I’ll Feel a Whole Lot Better
Sorry Byrds, but I feel a whole lot better with most of my personal favorites. 70/100
Weathers – C’est La Vie
remarkably cool and well done, this underrated song overwhelms Capital T's hip hop and Khalid's four chord nonsense.
George Harrison – My Sweet Lord
completely goddamn overrated, I don't know why this is higher than 4/5. No special melody or anything. Just religious message. 65/100
Daniel Bélanger – Spoutnik
RYM keeps recommending this artist, and it actually has a nice gimmick. The title is an interesting topic, and Daniel proves himself capable of supporting a slight electronic sound while retaining his acoustic piece. 77/100
『NIGHT RUNNING』by Shin Sakiura
Original review (2020): Incredibly funky and well done, this impresses me so much so that I'll dare to give it a 100! Don't disappoint me now, Shin... The song gets a bit bland over time, and the nice rhythm can only last so long. … Continue reading 『NIGHT RUNNING』by Shin Sakiura
Alessia Cara – Scars To Your Beautiful
I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this one. Anyhow, despite it sounding similar to *Something Wild*, I personally feel like Scars' message is just too... cliche (especially compared to being lost and having something to guide you home, and the violin). Both use "whoa, whoa" chorus so there's that at least. 84/100
St. Vincent – Los Ageless
Catchy and cool, even for a Redditvision winner, the hook "how can anybody have you lose you" is excellent and well done, though the electronics are a bit heavy and prevent breaking through this rating. 95/100
Powfu – death bed
Though he samples an Indie song, he twists it with his own unique meaning, turning it into an excellent lo-fi hip hop melody that just might be the 7th rap song added to my list. 89/100
