The four chord progression and "whoa-oh-oh" put this dangerously close to being lost among mainstream rock. However, the anti-God message is uniquely refreshing, and I say, let it burn. (C+)

Artist list and rating
I got bored and put some artist ratings (good, bad, mediocre) on my google sheet where I culminate random song related information, including a back up of my song list. Check it out!
Boards of Canada – Reach for the Dead
Reminds me of Stranger Things' theme song, or the vaporwave ideas presented by OneotrixPointNever. If this is the same genre, this is probably the best one I've heard yet, since it's not too repetitive or boring. (B-)
Dionesium x Mr. Chris – Nebula feat. Jason Qiu
The nebulous idea is achieved quite well. Slightly underwhelming, but not too shabby. Will listen to more of this later. (B)
Chipmunks – You Spin Me Right Round
too much layers of autotune, and the heavy beats defeat the purpose of the entire song, which the original conveys a highly intriguing mood in comparison. (D)
You Are My Home – The Chipmunks
I can't tell if this is acceptable, or cliché love song with the cheesy lyrics. The chorus isn't convincing either, especially with the electronic drop and strange rap part. Also... not a big fan of the "literal address the audience" idea. Let's go with the latter. (D-)
Chipettes – Single Ladies
Whoever said chipmunks is my favorite artist, they are completely and utterly wrong. Sure, the singing isn't too horrible, but the song gives nothing new to the song. I don't know why they covered this. (C)
The Chipmunks – Christmas Time is Here
Perhaps the only good song from the entire artist, Chipmunk delivers a relatively endearing song while balancing on the cringe line for their voices, versus the melodic idea of Christmas Time. (B)
Lil Story – RIOT!
Probably the most obscure hip hop song I've reviewed on my blog so far. The melody's quite unusual and it's difficult to pin point a good grade for it. Need more listens to know for sure. It certainly can't be dismissed on the surface by my "four rap songs argument". (C+ ... pending)
Ariana Grande – PoV
In my PoV (pun intended), the song is pretty decent with the ballad-like voice. Worth a listen to. Probably slightly worse than Papermoon, but not bad at all. (A-)
