w00ds – Solstice

With all the spotify ads, I'm a little surprised it's only 200 views on youtube, but perhaps the soft tone and the relaxing atmosphere forces it into obscurity. It doesn't impress me, so I guess most people might not check out the song that much. What a shame.

Children – BIN

After hearing their middle eastern inspired song, their most viewed Japanese style hit is a lot more normal sounding. It's got a neat chorus going on, though it feels it needs a little something more. The children complaining about adults is an unusual topic, however.

Mia Ramer – Identity

what identity does this song have? It feels a bit similar to the Sufjan Steven soft spoken tones. Though, it's unusual to consider harp as the first instrument to play. The singing definitely has potential, but I also feel the song probably needs like, a bridge/break somewhere in the middle.

JAWS – Vortex

A chilling song with an unusual reverse gimmick, JAWS produces another great hit. though, even they claim of unorthodox techniques to produce such a sound when reversed, it's hard to say for sure if Vortex truly breaks music theory...
