It's got a decent melody, but just has the old sound feeling and drags on a little bit, especially compared to the similar sounding "Shadows" (Yara Hatsuki) which has a much more festive mood and adds the cool fantasy flute.

Tanger – taraxaWHAT
Someone suggested this to me as a song I'd likely never find on my own, but, isn't this just a Porter Robinson Copy cat wannabe? I dunno if anything is unique or special about this one...
Two Steps from Hell – Victory
It's hard differentiate between cheesy and well made. Two Steps From Hell is always cinematic and dramatic, and I believe Victory is appropriately powerful without using too many predictable melodic ideas. 91/100.
The Greatest Showman – The Other Side
Catchy and neat, Other Side presents a nice and sleek "trading" battle of words between the main character and the one who would help him be inspired and begin the plot. 90/100.
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough – Marvin Gaye
An incredibly well known song, it's just a bit on the old side feeling to truly sit in my favorites list. Still, maybe one day... ain't no mountain high enough, to keep me from getting to you.
Kirara Magic & Xomu – Night of Bloom
The Japanese influence is excellent and the flute chorus is very catchy, not to mention the touching story where love prevails. I also like the detail someone noticed that the chorus begins with dreamy but becomes more clear due to the girl living in the end. Bravo! 91/100.
Collection of Lesser Represented Genres
You probably know how I dislike a lot of famous genres like Rap, Country, and Even Jazz. Here's a somewhat comprehensive list of most the songs that show my niche taste in these genres. Rap: Lose Yourself, Remember the Name, NF- Time, Gangster's Paradise, Sumthin New, Bust a Move, End of the World (Mori), Mera … Continue reading Collection of Lesser Represented Genres
Musicord R4 Reviews
This round was about Time and Space! The example I gave was Coloratura. Here's my reviews: (Kitty) Omniverse - Greydon Square. The rap is tricky to judge, it definitely seems more unique than most rap nowadays. The lyrics are unique, but I don't really feel the mood with this theme. With the penalty of the … Continue reading Musicord R4 Reviews
Anoushka Shankar – Bright Eyes ft. Alev Lenz
It has an interesting middle eastern influence, but the four chord progression leaves the bare performance feels it needs a little something, especially since only the title is unique for a "break up" or sad love related song. On a dark humor side note, "Fresh" by Kool and the Gang feels like the perfect response … Continue reading Anoushka Shankar – Bright Eyes ft. Alev Lenz
くぐる – X0o0X
Once again we have the nameless artist working on a slightly creepy sounding work. This one seems to have more style than most of their own songs, and it has some potential. Interesting stuff here.
