Amphibia Theme Song

I’ve been watching Amphibia recently, so here’s a review of the theme song, since I like the show. Even though it’s one minute long and hard to judge, it’s got some nice mystery idea and not bad at all. (B+)

Lyrical version review: Unfortunately, she forces the 40 seconds to link together with high production value and become a more standard country/pop song. The “ribbit ribbit, jump on it” proves that the creator didn’t know how to generate a nice mysterious lyrical song. There are many ways to solve this: having a pause after “whatcha gonna do”, or using an Indian accent to sing more varied tune, or not using as much autotune. Ruined. (D-)
