Though it uses the infamous, wait for it, four chord progression, it’s rather difficult to compare the ebbing and tide with small clean studio sound with a more standard song like PAPERMOON. Pretty decent song overall, though the dynamics do somewhat become predictable half way through before the softer “bridge”/Interlude. (B+)
Final rating (2023, two years later): Unfortunately, Piano has been skipped a lot when shuffling through the songs. The four chords can only carry the song for so long… I feel it’s overall lacking something truly unique. (Grade: C)
