Ah yes… Star Machine 2000. This song is very quirky and interesting, with unique instruments playing an otherwise “normal” melody. With the original video speaking of a story and the song vaguely fitting it, Star Machine appeals to the youth and the novelty easily, but in my opinion cannot last very long, even if it’ll probably stay on my favorites for quite some time. 85.
Three years later, 2021 re-review: Interesting. I did not think Star Machine’s charm would last me this long. As most songs are getting a bit mundane, this song popped up again in my memory. The unique beat and instruments aren’t too shabby — there aren’t many songs like this one. Ironically, the song has gotten slightly better in my opinion. Not too bad. Final rating: 88/100.
