Now we're going into the 3.5/5 on RYM, which technically converts to a seemingly average score, but I'd still say this song is quite decent overall. Not bad. (79/100)

Army of Me – Bjork
One of the only written songs popularized that has a Locrian scale in it, Army of Me is indeed challenging. Even the chorus which steers away from the base creates an unusual feeling. It is not entirely my style, but it is okay overall. (70/100)
Floating Life – Yu Peng Chen
The lyrical version of Kamisato's theme adds an additional somber yet light airy layer. I am impressed by how the vocalist is able to remain about the same level of whispery singing, yet not be too overwhelmed by the orchestral effects. They seem slightly strange out of Genshin's context, but they also add another dimension … Continue reading Floating Life – Yu Peng Chen
King Gizzard – Rattlesnake
I don't know why this is the top rated Microtonal single of all time, but King doesn't really impress me here.
Lynyrd Skynyrd – Free Bird
The song takes way too long to get to the good part, it's a bit slow. I would give the whole song an overall 75/100 since the first half is just really mundane. However, the second half is excellently paced, and deserves a 91/100 especially for its cool solo. Pacing matters a lot for me! … Continue reading Lynyrd Skynyrd – Free Bird
Internet Brain Rot – Mori Calliope
Mori delivers a quite catchy K pop style song that teases people on the internet who take offense too easily. The chorus reminds me of "look what you made me do" except in a much cooler style and idea. I'm not sure why, the whistle and the faster talk are far, far superior than Taylor … Continue reading Internet Brain Rot – Mori Calliope
DJ SLIINK X DJ DRU – ARCH IN YA BACK
This style of remix is really not completely my style. Could be worse though. (D)
Nicole Scherzinger – Wet
reminds me of some K pop songs. The song's just as suggestive as you've think.
My Stance on Lofi
Sadly, most lofi songs just aren't that great for me. I think I've only added a few interesting ones here and there, such as Letting Go. Spotify this week suggested an unusual amount of Lofi. I only enjoy the genre when I'm really tired and can't handle louder music, and even then sometimes something like … Continue reading My Stance on Lofi
Shamrock Vivace – Clever Clover
It's slightly cheesy, but who's not a fan of the doo wop when done well? It has a nice combination of modern and old elements, despite the voice. Not too shabby. (C+)
