Carly delivers another bop, though Rufus's involvement makes the title and message curious. It's got a nice idea though, even if the "I'm comin' back for you baby" has a silly connotation to it. Grade: B-/C+?

“I Really Want To Stay At Your House” By Rosa Walton & Hallie Coggins
the original version is just a little too sad, especially with the drawn out voice and context of the show. However, the 80's remix provides a very unique synth feeling to it and even optimism. I'd give the original a 76/100, and the 80's version is fittingly 86/100.
威風堂々( Pomp and Circumstance) – Umetora
interesting choice to moan through the song, though not wholly unexpected of a lewd message. The language barrier is sadly too big to get the message across besides the moaning, as it mostly sounds like a standard fare J-pop/K-pop song. However, the English cover reveals the true nature of the woman wanting the sexual relationship … Continue reading 威風堂々( Pomp and Circumstance) – Umetora
Hatsune Miku – Parachute
This one is not quite as easy to swallow as choco mint flavor, with the auto tuned voice being more noticeable and jarring against the hard ish rock. It's okay though. (Grade: C)
Bachelorette – Bjork
I don't usually enjoy or review Bjork songs, some of them sound very experimental or avant garde. This one's closer to the type I enjoy. The singing is skillful and I can kind of see why Rate your music consistently rates her high. Hard to determine Rating for now, but I will listen to this … Continue reading Bachelorette – Bjork
Camila Cabello – Havana ft. Young Thug
the song's been a bit overplayed, and it's hard to gauge how good the song actually is. The version that contains the trumpet solo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ByGpqf1ldI) Seems to invoke more unique melodies and ideas, while the original song feels a bit repetitive, especially "oh na na na". (C)
Candy Dulfer – Convergency
I very rarely add jazz songs, but Candy presents some very solid modern jazz that rises to an incredible point, especially the smooth middle. 100/100!
The Greatest Show – The Greatest Showman
The full version drags on for way too long, overstaying its welcome bombarding us with the chorus for like, three or four times. That's just ruining the point of the song, honestly. The cut version (3 minutes), however is perfect with its chilling building culminating in a powerful chorus that feels like they're fighting against … Continue reading The Greatest Show – The Greatest Showman
Hustle and Bustle of Ormos – Yu Peng Chen
The song is incredibly lively and makes me wanna dance! The Sumeru soundtrack is exotic and great, another easy grade A song for me. What's interesting is that I accidentally placed this directly next to Toi Et Moi by Paradis on the song list, causing a strange contrast. On one hand, I have rated Paradis's … Continue reading Hustle and Bustle of Ormos – Yu Peng Chen
Anyone Else – Shayne Orok & Ali Orok
As you may or may not know, I dislike Sufjan Steven, despite most RYM folks loving him. This has a similarly calm and simple style, yet feels more cozy and sweet. I dunno if it's because of the message or the artist style, but it's definitely more of my taste. Solid!
