You’ve found the tenth and final song on my quick playlist! Congratulations! If you missed the challenge, be sure to try to find out my other nine songs that I like to often listen to. A curious suggestion from Discovery Weekly, the song *glitters* and brims with potential. The beginning is a bit surprising but … Continue reading Rafferty – Glitter

Carly Rae Jepsen – Roses
a decent pop hit, Roses is another great song on the Emotion album. 91/100 yeah I can feel it reaching through the cracks a simple change of seasons, and it’s back all the roses in the garden revive from black oh whoa whoa, oh whoa oh (also I like the ambivalent feeling of the singer, … Continue reading Carly Rae Jepsen – Roses
Grimes – REALiTi
A little different from what I'm usually used to, but the dreamy voice isn't badly used, and the song isn't mundane at all. 89/100
Daya – New
Contradicting its song title, "new" doesn't really present anything too novel outside of the decent voice. I think past self's standards might've been lower, so I'm putting this as "might be removed" for now, especially with the chord progression and not super unique lyrics. 73/100
Avicii – Hey Brother
It's a bit overplayed, but the beat is infectious and the song is quite alright overall. 77/100
Tony Carey – Looking At The Moon
With Breaking Free's opposite not working out, I've decided to take a stab at the opposite of "staring at the sun" -- looking at the moon. Well, okay, not that opposite, but different idea. The tune is actually not bad, even for a love song. Looks like a sleeper hit here. I might have to … Continue reading Tony Carey – Looking At The Moon
Alexander Rybak – Fairytale
ah.... at last! With powerful majestic violin sounds, I firmly believe this song did deserve to win its edition. Very nice for a love song. 90/100 As for its Nobel prize edition, that adds an additional layer of mystery and coolness. 95/100, subtracted points for the hand clapping.
Jiydesh – Sen
Though repetitive, Sen is groovy and uses the sax to keep the love lyrics interesting. 87/100
Foster The People – Sit Next to Me
Groovy and well-composed, this song makes me agree with their words, "sit next to me". 91/100
Zhou jie lun – Blue and White Porcelain (青花瓷)
Calming and quite creative, this is well known as a classic of Chinese pop. Though it's not very powerful, it creates a fresh and unique melody that's nice to listen to. 87/100
